Is a website really necessary for every business?
Every business can benefit from a website, as it creates another channel for customers to find you, and buy your products or services. Today more than half of all Americans have a computer, and 80% of those have access to the Internet. The majority of those people are likely to use a search engine as opposed to the yellow pages to make a purchase.

How much is a website going to cost?
Many different factors go into determining the cost of website, is it a new site or a revision of an existing site, how many pages, how many images, how complex the site architecture and layout is, are the pages static or dynamic, will there be a database or shopping cart involved. How long should it take to set up my website?
The length of time needed to build your website, really depends on what your starting point is. If you have an existing website that only needs to be updated, it can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks. If you need a custom website built for you, it can a few weeks to few months, depending on how many pages your website will have. If you have a large website we can launch you in stages to get you online as quickly as possible. As rule of thumb most small business websites can be online in 6-9 weeks.

Can’t I use one of a free website service like geocities or tripod?
The free websites advertised like geocities or tripod are really meant for personal use. These website are an extension of large web portals like yahoo, and when you use it you will get a domain like www.yahoo.com/yourcompany/index.htm, which is much harder to type than www.yourcompany.com. Additionally, the leading search engines index almost none of the free services.

How often should I update my website?
You want your website to look dynamic, and fresh, so the answer is how often do things change and how often do you want your customers to come back. For some websites this may be daily or weekly, for some monthly, and at the very minimum it should be quarterly. You should also know that some search engines reward you if you have content that is updated on a continual basis.

I don’t have a digital camera, how can I get you pictures?
A digital camera is not required to get us pictures, we can utilize pictures from a regular camera as long as they are clean and clear. If that’s not an option we can try to use stock photography. Pricing for stock photos depends on how unique or specific your picture needs are.

How can a website improve my business?
A good website promotes your business online and brings you new customers. Whether you are a goods or services company, you can use your website to advertise your company, and join the millions of other businesses that are already online.
Today’s consumers expect a business to be online, and will often research a company website before they make the decision to do business with them.
